Animals, environments, seasons, transportation, buildings, family, and more! The Pre-K curriculum explores a huge range of topics. This workshop examines how works of art in the NCMA’s collection can be an engaging springboard for enhancing your students’ understanding of common Pre-K areas of study. It provides you with strategies for incorporating NCMA works of art into your Pre-K class as well as techniques for extending your students’ learning through a related art-making activity. Part of the workshop takes place in the NCMA’s galleries for inspiration, and part in the studio for hands-on activities. Earns 0.25 CEU.
